Professional Dental Cleaning
We recommend annual Professional Dental Cleaning to all pets whose ages are around 3 years old or older. It prevents pets from loosing teeth, bleeding gums, a painful mouth, and systemic infections.
Routine (Annual/Biannual) Wellness Exam
Several recent studies have described a deterioration in physical examination skills among modern doctors. A careful physical exam can help refine the next steps in the diagnostic process, and can prevent unnecessary diagnostic testing. We focus on providing thorough, high-quality Physical Exam for each pet.
Spay / Neuter
We do all to minimize its risks and maximize its quality
All pets are:
- given a pre-surgical exam to evaluate their health for anesthesia and develop an anesthetic protocol appropriate for each pet.
- given general anesthesia, using the most current anesthetic protocols.
- closely monitored during the procedure, using state-of-the-art monitors by a trained assistant during the entire procedure.
- actively kept warm during and after the surgery.
- given adequate pain control during and after surgery.
- given intravenous catheters during the procedure, to facilitate maintaining blood pressure and to induce anesthesia.
- closely monitored post-operatively during the recovery of anesthesia.
(When comparing our clinic to other clinics, make sure you consider the services above. Lower-cost procedures may skip some steps and have lesser care that may put your pet at risk).
